Requirements for Open Burning

1) You must have a Burn Permit from the Little Rock Fire
Department. You can get your Burn Permit at LRFD Main Fire Station, 624
S. Chester. The cost is $5.00 for an annual permit. (Good for one
year.)

2) You must call LRFD at 371-4829 each day you wish to
burn and get permission. (This allows LRFD to know who and where open
burns are.)

3) You can only burn yard waste like leaves, grass
clipping and small limb trimmings. No trash or building materials.

4) You must keep your open fire 50 feet from any structure
or any burn barrel 10 feet from any structure.

5) You can only burn from sunup to sundown.

6) You must have an adult supervision of the fire at all
times.
