When you see furniture, appliances, or large amounts of waste on the curb, please call 311. If it is put out in a way the the City can pick it up, they will schedule a time to do so. If it is not, they will send out a Code Enforcement officer to see that the problem is taken care of. The City will not know to come make a pickup or to send Code Enforcement without calling 311. Normal trash pickup is limited to a non-overflowing, city-issued garbage can. The city's trucks with arms designed to pick up the "green monsters" are not equipped to pick up anything else. If you believe that the occupant who left the trash on the curb has moved out, the Broadmoor board encourages you to call the property manager or owner to remind them of their responsibility to keep the neighborhood looking good. We try to maintain a current list of absentee owners and managers. If you do not know the owner, and cannot find out from the Assessor's site, please contact a board member for help.
